Our Mission
BOOTS ON THE GROUND is a non-profit humanitarian aid organization dedicated to providing in-field emergency assistance in current conflict theaters, former military operational zones, and in areas of extreme poverty, famine, or that have been affected by disasters such as fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding, and tsunamis.
What We Do We provide urgently needed emergency and primary medical care, water, food, and other necessities required to sustain life to individuals and families who lack these essentials that we often take for granted. Who We Are
Our core operational volunteers are composed of current and former military, members of the law enforcement community, and other qualified civilians trained in disaster management, global security, counter-terrorism, force protection, emergency medicine, search and rescue, and recovery.
Our support volunteers are individuals with a variety of backgrounds, skills, abilities who share our core values and want to make a difference in their communities, and communities throughout the world.

Our Beginning
BOOTS ON THE GROUND (BOTG) was founded by a group of like-minded medics and Advanced Tactical Practitioners skilled in emergency, remote and austere medicine, global security, disaster management, and related fields. The genesis of BOTG started after hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf States and decimated Mississippi and Louisiana. Within 48 hours Mr. Clark responded to the disaster by driving his own vehicle, with his own supplies, and on his own dime into the heart of New Orleans, where he provided desperately needed medical care to hundreds of patients. His efforts were covered by major networks around the world including CNN, Fox News, the BBC, and others. It was a pivotal moment in his life. Boots On The Ground is a result of his experiences and desire to provide medical assistance to those in need around the world.
