Our RAMP program is modeled after the ATP program ran by the US Army’s Special Operations community and mirrored by other branches such as the Air Force and Navy. So as you might imagine, we value high quality field equipment and want to make sure our RAMPS have the best they can get too.

Recently, we decided to upgrade our vests and plate carriers to the CIRAS, which is incredibly well made and has a quick release that allows the wearer to drop it in an instant by pulling a cable. The vest wears well, is comfortable, and clearly thought out.

Of course, we modify the basic load set-up to accommodate the particular mission we are involved in based on a packing list and SOP. In areas that are safer, we jettison the magazine pouches and replace them with things like dump pouches.
